Job summary

WeQuel is seeking an experienced Project Supplier Quality Manager in Finspång to join the client’s Product Supplier Quality Management team. You will coordinate supplier quality activities across projects and align with the Project Quality Manager to develop robust quality plans.

This consultancy position requires at least 5 years in supplier quality, experience with manufacturing processes and relevant standards, and fluent English.

• Background in purchasing/supplier quality, manufacturing or operation of rotating machinery, boilers or the process industry, or welding.
• Experience in product quality and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between suppliers and project teams, building strong relationships both internally and with system suppliers
• Establish and implement supplier monitoring plans to reduce project risks
• Assess suppliers’ ability to meet project-specific requirements and customer expectations
• Schedule and coordinate inspection dates and key inspection points with suppliers, customers and the client
• Collect, review and validate supplier quality documentation, including declarations, inspection and test plans (ITP) and certificates

We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced Project Supplier Quality Manager in Finspång. You will become an important part of the client’s Product Supplier Quality Management team and make sure products from system suppliers meet project and customer requirements. You will coordinate all supplier quality activities in customer projects and work closely with the responsible Project Quality Manager to develop comprehensive quality plans.

• Experience with CE marking, PED, SS-EN 1090, ISO 3834, LVD or similar standards

• Ability to read and interpret standards and customer requirements

• A structured and collaborative approach, with the drive to move projects forward
