Job summary

WesDyne Sweden AB in Täby, Sweden, is seeking a Project Manager - NDE specialist to lead and deliver projects for the nuclear power industry in collaboration with our technical experts and management. You will work both independently and with the team to drive successful outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in NDE, leadership experience, and fluency in Swedish and English, with travel up to 50%. Hybrid work model, reporting to the President & Operations Manager in Täby, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Technical or quality education at university level or equivalent.
• 5+ years of NDE experience.
• Leadership experience.
• Proficient Swedish and English language skills.
• Level II certification ISO 9712/PCN is meritorious.
• PM education or certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical documentation for quotations.
• Act as internal contributor focused on NDE work and the Project Manager together with the Team.
• Plan, follow up and run customer projects and development projects with regard to finances, schedules, requirements, and our employees.
• Create a project organization with assigned resources.
• Ensure that the work in the project is conducted following current business systems and according to WesDyne Sweden's policies.
• Update project participants, customers, and organization with the necessary information for the project.
• Travels: up to 50% of your time - as the project will be executed at the customer’s site.

WesDyne Sweden AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Sweden. WesDyne Sweden AB is one of the world's leading companies in mechanized non-destructive testing. The main area of activity is the development and manufacture of systems for non-destructive material testing with e.g. ultrasound, eddy current and camera systems.

As a Project Manager - NDE specialist your main responsibilities will be to deliver everything from small assignments to large projects to our customers in the nuclear power industry together with our technical experts and other management.

You will be working independently and together with the Team while supporting complex projects.

You will report to the President & Operations Manager WesDyne Sweden and be located in Täby, Sweden.

Model of work: hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical documentation for quotations

Qualifications

• Technical or quality education at university level or equivalent: 5+ years of experience
• Leadership experience
• Very good Swedish and English language skills
• Experience in NDT (NDE)—particularly in ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, or visual inspection - and certification to at least Level II (ISO 9712/PCN) are considered meritorious. Extensive experience in these areas is highly valued.
• If you also have education, certification, or experience in project management, this is an advantage
