Job description

The Project Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and closure of complex projects. This role specifically focuses on projects with significant change in engineering, IT or CAPEX components, such as new factory lines, system integration, or core infrastructure development. The manager leverages senior leadership skills and advanced project‑management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) to bridge the gap between cross‑functional teams and senior business stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & WBS: Develop and manage comprehensive project charters, detailed Work Breakdown Structures, schedules, and resource plans that align with overall program strategy and business goals. Ensure projects are prioritized and closed in a timely manner.
  • Risk Management & Mitigation: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex risks and dependencies (e.g., system integration, supplier performance, technical feasibility) across the project lifecycle.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Lead, coordinate, and motivate diverse cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, IT, Product, and Operations, serving as the primary facilitator for technical issue resolution and decision‑making.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the single point of contact for project communications, providing regular, concise status updates and reports to project teams, senior management, and executive stakeholders.
  • Vendor & Budget Oversight: Manage significant project budgets, controlling costs and tracking financial performance. Oversee and integrate tasks from external vendors and third‑party contractors, ensuring deliverables meet technical specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Methodology & Standards: Drive the application of project‑management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO to enhance delivery efficiency and predictability.
Requirements
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Software), Computer Science, or a related technical field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience – Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Project or Program Management, with at least 4 years of hands‑on experience managing complex technical projects (e.g., system deployment, new product introduction, or factory automation).
  • Technical Skills – PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or relevant Agile certification (CSM, SAFe) highly preferred. Deep proficiency in project‑management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence) and ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE) in a manufacturing or engineering context. Solid technical acumen to understand and communicate complex technical concepts, system architecture, and engineering constraints.
