• Drive and communicate the financial progression of vehicle programs against targets and milestones.
• Serve as a key financial partner to program management for data-driven decision making.
• Act as primary contact for program-related financial matters within Finance and with operational stakeholders.
• Analyze and deliver CAPEX, cost, and profitability data for program milestones and explain variances.
• Participate in Forecasts, Budget and Business Planning including investment spend and vehicle profitability.
• Lead financial controlling activities for manufacturing plants with robust reporting and analysis.
• Perform analyses of transfer prices with transfer pricing controllers.
• Support BOM development, cost improvement initiatives, and cost reduction tracking.

About the position

Perido is looking for a Program Controller to join our client, a leading global premium EV brand. This positions is located in Gothenburg.

In this role, you will hold a key position supporting the development and financial steering of vehicle programs throughout key program milestones. You will work closely with Program Management and cross-functional stakeholders—including R&D, Manufacturing, Design, Procurement, Business Office, Volume Planning, and Finance - to ensure financial transparency and drive efficient program execution. The position uniquely combines program controlling across the full product lifecycle with financial controlling within a major automotive group, covering joint venture production and strategic sister-brand operations. providing broad exposure to both program and product cost controlling. You will also engage in close cooperation with international counterparts.

Your daily tasks

• Drive and communicate the financial progression of model year programs against established targets and milestones
• Serve as a key financial partner to program management, providing quality-assured financial data to support decision‑making throughout the program lifecycle
• Act as the primary contact for program‑related financial matters, both within Finance and towards operational stakeholders
• Secure, analyse, and deliver investment (CAPEX), cost, and profitability data for program milestones, including clear explanations of variances and underlying business drivers
• Actively participate in all financial planning processes, including Forecasts, Budget, and Business Planning (BPL), covering investment spend and vehicle profitability
• Lead financial controlling activities for manufacturing plants, ensuring robust reporting, analyses, and financial performance assessments aligned with business realities
• Perform financial analyses of transfer prices from manufacturing plants in close collaboration with transfer pricing controllers
• Drive and support business case development and investigations related to manufacturing operations, including Bill of Material (BOM) development, cost improvement initiatives, and cost reduction tracking

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent academic background
• 3-10 years of experience in financial controlling or analyst roles, including experience setting and following up targets
• Outstanding analytical capabilities
• Very strong skills in Excel and complex data handling
• Strong project management skills, acting as the key link and centre for inputs from numerous internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English

Meritorious:

• Understanding of potential cost and revenue drivers within the automotive industry
• Experience with product cost structures, BOM development, or transfer pricing

Contract type and hours

Full‑time, consulting assignment until 2027-02-28. Start 2026-10-01.
