Job summary

Dolphin Group is seeking 3–4 experienced car painters and body repairers for a family-run workshop near Kristianstad, southern Sweden. The workshop paints Koenigsegg supercars and is an authorized service for Volkswagen, SEAT, and Skoda.

Initial 14-day test, then a 3‑month contract if successful, with the option of a long-term contract. Accommodation in a shared house is provided and travel to Sweden is paid by the client.

Qualifications

• Experience as a car painter in a professional workshop.
• Experience with body repair: filler, sanding, masking and primer.
• English or Swedish, good enough to talk at work.

Responsibilities

• Repair body damage and plastic parts according to manufacturer instructions.
• Apply filler and shape surfaces before painting.
• Rough and wet sanding; mask and protect areas to be painted.
• Manage paints and products, wash and prep the bodywork.
• Ensure high finish suitable for supercars such as Koenigsegg.

About this recruitment

We are looking for 3–4 experienced car painters and body repairers for a family-run workshop near Kristianstad, southern Sweden. The workshop has an exclusive agreement to paint cars for Koenigsegg, the Swedish supercar maker. It is also an authorised service for Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda.

This is not a short job. You start with a 14-day test at the workshop. If the test goes well, you sign a first contract for 3 months. Those who do good work can then get a long-term contract.

Dolphin Group pays your trip to Sweden, and you get your own room in a shared house.

Working hours and pay

Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00. 40–45 hours a week.

• €23/hour with at least 5 years of documented experience in car body repair and one reference
• €21/hour with less experience

Full-time work gives about €3,600–4,500 a month before taxes and fees.

Qualifications

Overall assessment of positive details, such as:

• Experience as a car painter in a professional workshop
• Experience with body repair: filler, sanding, masking and primer
• English or Swedish, good enough to talk at work (must)
• Driving licence B is a plus
• Good health, the work is physical
• You like working in a team

Candidate profile

You have worked as a car painter in an established workshop, side by side with other painters and repairers. You know how to prepare a car for paint and how to deliver a clean finish. The workshop paints supercars, so the standard is high.

You are reliable, you come on time and you take pride in your work. Men and women are equally welcome.

3-month contract, then long-term

After an approved test you sign a 3-month contract. If it goes well, the next step is a long-term contract.

Tasks

• Repair body damage and plastic parts, following the manufacturer's repair instructions
• Apply filler and shape the surface before painting
• Rough sanding and wet sanding
• Mask and cover the parts that should not be painted
• Rust protection, primer and seam sealing after repairs
• Build up the paint in layers with base coat
• Wash and clean the bodywork before and after the work
• Choose the right products for each job

The ultimate client

A family-run, well-established workshop near Kristianstad with modern equipment. The workshop has an exclusive agreement with Koenigsegg and is responsible for painting their cars. It is also an authorised service for Volkswagen, SEAT and Skoda cars.

Accommodation

You get your own bedroom in a shared house, with a shared kitchen and bathroom. Wi‑Fi is included. The accommodation follows Dolphin Group's minimum standards.

Bring your own bed linen. It is not provided.

Work clothes are provided by the client.

• You need a full passport. A national ID card is not enough.
