Job summary

KPIT in Sweden is seeking a Production Engineer with team leadership responsibilities to coordinate the industrialization of new products and improvements in existing production, working closely with manufacturing partners.

The role combines operational production development with leading the industrialization team, driving priorities, deliveries and cost control in a consulting assignment.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as a production engineer with industrialization and improvement work in production.
• Experience in supplier contact, requirements and follow-up in production.
• Experience in leading meetings and following up on schedules, budgets and costs.
• Technical understanding of products where mechanics, electronics and software interact.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Preferred Skills

• Team or project management as well as knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, production testing and PPAP are meritorious.
