Job summary

Nordnet is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead Customer Risk and drive the AML/CFT platform across Nordic and German markets. You translate regulatory requirements into practical product decisions, maintain a clear roadmap, and collaborate with FCP, Compliance, and engineering teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as product owner or similar role within onboarding, risk assessment or FCP in a bank, broker, fintech, payments company, consultancy or RegTech provider.
• Passion for creating smooth customer journeys, even when regulation adds friction.
• Ability to navigate the complex, competitive, and regulated finance landscape.
• High personal initiative with the ability to lead by example and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Shape the due diligence and customer-risk experience so it is compliant, efficient for operations and low-friction for customers.
• Lead the team roadmap by defining feature scope and prioritizing deliverables in collaboration with business owners and stakeholders.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding roadmap progress, changes, and potential blockers.
• Proactively identify and mitigate product risks while ensuring all features meet stringent regulatory and legal standards.
• Guide development teams through complex technical problem-solving to deliver impactful products and a high-performance user experience.
