Job summary

Aarke is seeking a Product Manager to drive performance and development of its product category across the full life cycle, using market and consumer insights, business requirements and design direction to define category strategies and frame development projects.

You will build and maintain the category roadmap, support concept and portfolio decisions, ensure products are launched, maintained and updated to meet market and user expectations, and collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a product-related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management and product management for consumer appliances.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product decisions.
• Experience collaborating with R&D and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the category roadmap with CPDO and leadership through business cases and market validations.
• Lead product development projects following the development process for design, functionality and feasibility.
• Steer projects with regard to market requirements and launch process; align with Commercial and Brand on positioning and messaging; drive market rollout.
• Monitor product success and challenges across markets; oversee lifecycle of existing products through claims, quality data, updates and editions.
• Map category products and opportunities using consumer analyses, market intelligence, distributor and D2C input, and competitor benchmarking.
• Act as a cross-functional bridge between R&D, Commercial, Industrial Design and Brand; ensure requirements and trade-offs are clearly communicated.
• Present strategic plans and complex decision points to management and lead teams across disciplines, cultures and distances.
