Aarke Sweden is looking for an Automation & AI Specialist to enhance company operations through automation and AI tools. The successful candidate will connect systems, improve workflows, and build practical solutions to eliminate manual work while ensuring reliable performance.
Applicants should have hands-on experience in developing automation and integrating business systems. Familiarity with tools like Make.com and Shopify is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
Aarke is a Swedish design company redefining everyday kitchen appliances through premium materials, engineering, and timeless design. Founded in 2013, we are on a mission to re(de)fine the home appliances industry — combining Scandinavian design, exceptional quality, and top‑tier materials in a category often overlooked by the design community.
Our flagship product, the Aarke Carbonator, has earned a devoted global following with customers in more than 30 countries. As we continue to scale internationally and expand into new product categories, we are looking for sharp, hands‑on people to grow with us.
This is a chance to shape how a scaling company runs. The Automation & AI Specialist builds the systems and automation that let Aarke grow without growing complexity, making operations more seamless, more streamlined and more scalable as the business expands.
The role keeps Aarke's systems connected and working together, and improves how the company runs by automating manual, repetitive work. Aarke's integrations are spread across several tools and partners rather than one platform, and the role works across that landscape, covering ERP, e‑commerce, customer support, marketing and logistics, using automation and AI to make day‑to‑day work faster, more accurate and less manual.
This reaches well beyond operations. Much of the value sits on the commercial and online side, in the e‑commerce platform, the support and marketing tools, and the customer and order data that flow between them. The role works closely with the Online team and supports the systems and automation behind Aarke's growth as well as the back‑office operations. We are looking for a builder and operator with real, hands‑on experience building tools, apps and automations with AI, who enjoys working across both business and technology and cares that what they build runs reliably in the business. We also want someone who is not tied to any one technology: someone who builds well on what we have, keeps a clear view of what good looks like elsewhere, and is confident and bold enough to bring in better ways of doing things.
It reports to the COO.
Aarke's integration landscape is spread across several tools and external partners. ERP integrations are built in code units and OmniConnect, EDI runs through Connectpointz, Shopify integrations are handled variously by the WMS and 3PL, our e‑commerce agency or in‑house, and automation work runs through Make.com and similar tools. A central part of the role is working across this landscape, keeping data flowing cleanly between systems and bringing more structure and coherence to how it all fits together.
You are a hands‑on builder who ships things that actually work — not just demos. You care about the details and have the judgment to build solutions that hold up in real day‑to‑day use. You notice manual work and want to make it simpler, and you are naturally collaborative, comfortable moving across teams and different parts of the business. You are not attached to any one technology, stay curious about what good looks like elsewhere, and are confident enough to challenge the current setup and try better approaches — without over‑engineering or chasing novelty for its own sake.
At Aarke you get to work with consumer products that people genuinely love — and contribute to building the paid media engine that helps us grow globally. We are a small, hands‑on team where your work has real impact and visibility.
We offer a collaborative environment, strong learning opportunities, and the chance to grow within a fast‑scaling international company. Our headquarters is in central Stockholm, Vasastan.
