As aLeadEngineer, Plant Design, your job is tolead plant engineering disciplinein Valmet’s PEC projects during the engineering phaseand product delivery,being responsible forthe delivery time andmanaging the budget within plant engineering.YourlocationwillbeSundsvall, Sweden.The team you will belong to carries out reconstruction or new construction projects for our demanding customers within the pulp and paper industry worldwide. We operate in a global organization where daily contact takes place in many parts of the world. In addition to project work within piping design, your experience and expertise will contribute to the continuous development of our products and work processes. Our world-leading products are energy‑optimized and contribute to environmentally friendly and more sustainable production.
To succeed in this role, you are likely a civil or university engineer with at least 10 years of work experience in piping design within the process industry. You have strong knowledge of design, norms and standards, and in tools such as E3D/PDMS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
As a person, you are responsible, take initiative, and work independently while contributing to team spirit. You can apply and share your expertise and have good communication skills. You speak and write fluent Swedish and English.
