Job summary

Magma Math is seeking a Product Designer to join the Teacher experience team in Stockholm. You will sketch, prototype, and refine solutions that are shipped to classrooms and districts globally, validating ideas through feedback and user research.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and teachers to ensure designs are functional and valuable, and contribute to a scalable design system that supports rapid iteration in a thriving edtech environment.

Qualifications

• Background in product design (academic or equivalent work experience).
• Able to transform problems into clear, user-friendly designs across platforms.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn with a growth mindset.
• Owns projects end-to-end and translates ideas into shipped initiatives.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, iterative environment with regular releases.
• Familiar with design systems and scalable UI patterns.
• Comfortable prototyping in Figma and validating with users.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of the teacher platform within Magma's educator experience.
• Turn problems into clear, user‑friendly designs from PMs or teachers.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Engage with users to ground designs in real needs.
• Create user flows, wireframes and hi‑fi designs in Figma.
• Follow work after launch to measure usage and iterate.
• Improve processes and the design system to accelerate delivery.
