Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Ludvika seeks an Engineering Team Leader for Bushings to lead a 10–15 person engineering team and drive daily operations, quality, and delivery. You will shape priorities, coach staff, and manage resources to support production and tendering in a high voltage bushing factory.

The role requires an engineering degree, experience in engineering or R&D, and knowledge of transformers. Swedish and English fluency are essential; a managerial background is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience from Engineering or R&D.
• Knowledge in transformers or transformer components preferred.
• Some years of managerial experience is a merit.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10–15 engineers in our high voltage bushing factory, focusing on supporting daily operations (tendering, quality, production, supply chain).
• Oversee competence planning and execution, including coaching to improve performance and managing resources.
• Set priorities for engineering tasks and ensure quality and delivery goals are met.
• Develop engineering standards and support continuous improvement and budgetary controls.
• Collaborate with the bushing engineering manager to shape engineering strategy.
