Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support an indirect IT category within a strategic carve-out programme in Solna. You will independently manage procurement activities, prepare RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, and coordinate with IT, security, legal, and programme stakeholders to ensure Day-1 readiness.

The role requires fluent English, strong negotiation skills, and a hybrid work arrangement in Solna.

Qualifications

  • Relevant university or college degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience independently executing sourcing and procurement activities for goods and services, ideally IT category or strategic programme.
  • Experience preparing and coordinating RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations and mobilisation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to challenge and align commercial, technical, and business perspectives.
  • Strong analytical and structuring skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain transparency and auditability.
  • Pragmatic and delivery-oriented, balancing procurement quality with programme deadlines and governance.
  • Able to prioritise, create structure, and maintain momentum in fast-changing environments with dependencies.
  • Self-driven and collaborative, able to work independently within a multidisciplinary programme team.
  • High integrity and sound judgement when handling confidential information.
  • Fluent professional English required; CVs must be English.

Responsibilities

  • Independently execute procurements of goods and services, and follow up on supplier performance and deliveries.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contracts, procurement matters, and call-offs against framework agreements.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier criteria, and procurement plans for the IT category.
  • Manage sourcing milestones, dependencies, risks and decisions in line with the programme roadmap.
  • Coordinate supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, mobilisation and handover.
  • Maintain clear auditable procurement records, commercial assumptions, and decision materials.
  • Perform IT category and supplier-market scan covering required services and capabilities.
  • Translate business, IT, architecture, security, and transition requirements into sourcing strategies and plans.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and issue RFI, RFQ, and RFP documentation with stakeholders.
  • Plan and manage procurement milestones, dependencies, and decisions in line with IT roadmap.
  • Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models, and scoring structures; coordinate supplier evaluations.
  • Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations, and commercial recommendations.
  • Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilisation, and handover.
  • Provide procurement input to programme reporting, budget discussions, and Steering Committee materials.
  • Support coordination with current indirect procurement function and future procurement organisation.
  • Participate in working groups and investigations concerning responsibility and procurement matters.

Job description

Contract Type: Fixed-term until 31st March 2027

Work Style: Hybrid (Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, Solna-based)

Role Objective

Support the indirect procurement workstream for a strategic carve-out programme, with primary responsibility for the IT category. Establish and execute sourcing activities that protect the carve-out timeline, support Day-1 readiness, and prepare the future organisation for supplier mobilisation and delivery. Deliver compliant, transparent, and commercially robust procurement outcomes while maintaining alignment across business, IT, architecture, security, legal, and programme stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop evaluation criteria, commercial models, and scoring structures, and coordinate transparent supplier evaluations.
  • Support supplier shortlisting, clarification meetings, negotiations, and commercial recommendations.
  • Coordinate contracting activities and support supplier onboarding, mobilisation, and handover.
  • Provide procurement input to programme reporting, budget discussions, and Steering Committee decision material.
  • Support coordination with the current indirect procurement function and the future company procurement organisation.
  • Participate in relevant working groups and investigative assignments concerning responsibility and procurement matters.
Decision Authority / Responsibility
  • Independently manage assigned procurement activities within agreed governance, programme timelines, and delegated authority.
  • Provide procurement advice and constructively challenge commercial, technical, and business stakeholders where required.
  • Maintain integrity, confidentiality, transparency, and auditability when handling supplier information and procurement decisions.
  • Escalate material commercial, contractual, delivery, governance, and programme risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
