Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in energy systems assessment and modelling or an equivalent foreign degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Swedish or any other Scandinavian language (the project language is Swedish).
• Experience in energy systems assessment and modelling, local and regional energy systems, energy and climate transitions, spatial aspects of energy, sectoral linkages, mixed methods approaches, and stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop your own scientific concepts in line with the objectives of the position (regional energy systems modelling).
• Communicate the results of your research verbally and in writing.
• Contribute to the project and build and maintain collaborative links with department members, research project members and stakeholders.
• Supervise master’s students to a certain extent.
• Possibility to engage in teaching at undergraduate/master’s level.
