Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as environmental science, environmental economy, energy technology, energy systems analysis, energy modelling, life cycle assessment or energy transitions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience with data analysis and programming (GAMS, MATLAB, Python, R, or Brightway).
  • Independent researcher with analytical skills and interest in transport sector transition.

Responsibilities

  • Perform studies assessing the potential role of hydrogen in a systems perspective with focus on economic and environmental aspects.
  • Contribute to develop energy system models and/or perform life cycle assessment.
  • Involve in training doctoral students and supervise MSc students; teaching at graduate and undergraduate level may be included.
