Job summary

Sway Sourcing Sweden Aktiebolag is seeking an experienced PMO Coordinator for a consulting assignment within a transforming organization. The role focuses on governance, reporting, and progress follow-up, and does not include personnel management or budget ownership.

You will support initiative owners and leadership with structured PMO processes, risk tracking, stakeholder communication, and cross-project coordination across a portfolio. This is a hybrid role based in Fagersta, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a PMO, project coordination or portfolio governance role.
• Structured status reporting and leadership-facing communication materials.

About the Role

You will play an important role in an ongoing transformation, contributing to the continued development of PMO structures and ensuring consistent tracking and follow-up across projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Continue developing and implementing the existing PMO structure and risk model.

• Support project follow-up routines and pilot testing across active initiatives.

• Document lessons learned and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Maintain and further develop processes, tools, and templates for project and portfolio governance.

• Support structured initiative tracking, including RAG status, milestones, and status reporting.

• Maintain and support established stakeholder and governance forums.

• Coordinate communication and follow-up with initiative owners and leadership.

• Prepare and maintain recurring portfolio updates and communication materials for relevant stakeholders.

• Support meeting preparation, reporting, and follow-up to ensure continued progress across initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in a PMO, project coordination, or portfolio governance role.

• Demonstrated experience producing structured status reporting and leadership-facing communication materials, such as RAG/status dashboards or portfolio summaries.

• Experience or solid knowledge of project/portfolio risk frameworks and follow-up routines.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365.

• Experience working in a large, matrixed, multi-stakeholder organization undergoing transformation.

• Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Experience within manufacturing, industrial environments, or supply chain is highly relevant for this assignment.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience with Workday or an equivalent HR/performance management system.

• Experience from industrial or supply chain transformation programs.

• Swedish language skills.

You are highly structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating multiple activities simultaneously. You communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels and are able to create progress and accountability without formal managerial authority.

You should also be comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving scope in a fast-moving transformation environment.
