Job summary

ValueLabs seeks an experienced Platform Leader to define the vision, roadmap, and delivery of digital platforms. You will drive platform strategy, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and ensure smooth platform operations while enabling product teams to deliver business value.

You will oversee platform backlogs, communicate priorities to products, and manage day-to-day operations, including cost control and budget input. Strong Agile/DevOps experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Digital Product Management, Platform Management, or Software Development.
• Proven experience working within Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices and developer needs.
• Experience managing platform roadmaps, backlogs, and release plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience working with modern digital technologies and cloud-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set the platform vision with a clear roadmap and align with digital product roadmap ambitions.
• Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of a software or technology platform.
• Manage day-to-day platform operations including monitoring performance and access.
• Own the platform backlog and communicate it to products and stakeholders.
• Prioritize platform needs based on product and release requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
• Organize and run the digital platform team’s operations.
• Manage platform release plans and communicate delivery expectations.
• Control costs and input to the overall budget for digital platforms.
• Remove dependencies and blockers to improve delivery capabilities.
• Gather insights to empathize with product and developer realities.
• Identify measures of success for platform outcomes.

About this role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Leader to define and drive the vision, roadmap, and delivery of our digital platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for platform strategy, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring seamless platform operations while enabling product teams and developers to deliver business value efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to set the platform vision with a clear roadmap, ensuring it aligns with digital product roadmap ambitions.
• Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of a software or technology platform
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the platform. This includes monitoring performance, managing user accounts and access, and ensuring that the platform is running smoothly.
• Accountable for the platform backlog (build, edit and maintain) and also to clearly communicate the backlog to products and other stakeholders.
• Accountable for platform prioritization based on needs from various products and release needs.
• Comply with relevant frameworks and standards.
• Responsible for the composition and operational functioning of the digital platform team
• Accountable for digital platform release plan, communication and setting of expectations for delivery of new features and functionalities.
• Responsible to secure that the digital platforms are efficient and simple for the products and developers, controlling the costs and giving input to the overall budget.
• Responsible to manage dependencies and blockers, improving digital platform delivery capabilities.
• Gather insights to understand and empathize with the products and developers reality.
• Identify and create measures of success to understand how the platform achieves desired outcomes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Digital Product Management, Platform Management, or Software Development.
• Proven experience working within Agile, Scrum, or DevOps environments.
