Job summary

Stilta is building agentic AI for intellectual property and seeks an engineering leader to own the platform on which every Stilta agent runs. You will scale from hundreds to thousands of concurrent sessions, handling millions of documents with fast, secure infrastructure.

You will design and run the Kubernetes platform behind agent swarms, set reliability and security standards, and drive architectural decisions that guide engineering for years to come.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems in production.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/Azure).
• Software engineer first, proficient in TypeScript and/or Python.
• Treat reliability, performance and cost as product decisions and instrument before you guess.
• Bonus: experience with AI workloads at scale or enterprise security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the Kubernetes platform behind large-scale agent swarms—scheduling, autoscaling and isolation across customers.
• Build systems that keep agent sessions fast and resilient under heavy, unpredictable load.
• Own our infrastructure as code and the path to production on Azure, with security and data residency built in.
• Make storage and data pipelines durable and performant for workloads spanning millions of documents.
• Build observability that tells us why something is failing, not just that it is.
