Job summary

Sunclass Airlines is seeking First Officers for its bases in Stockholm-Arlanda, Gothenburg, and Helsinki. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 1500 hours total time and proficiency in English. The role involves ensuring passenger safety and coordination with cabin crew and air traffic control.

Additionally, the position offers a modern fleet and opportunities for development within one of the largest charter airlines in Scandinavia, known for high quality and safety standards.

About the position

Sunclass Airlines is the largest charter airline in Scandinavia with a mixed A321 and A330 fleet. We operate a fleet of 12 aircraft serving more than 20 destinations across our summer and winter programmes. We are looking for candidates who are eager to join a company which is known for its high quality and safety standards.

As a part of Nordic Leisure Travel Group, Sunclass Airlines operates throughout the four Nordic countries and is highly integrated with both our tour operator and hotel divisions.

We fly from 7 Nordic base airports and 24 secondary Nordic airports throughout Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. You should expect to frequently have days away from home base due to the nature of our operation.

We are currently recruiting First Officers for our Stockholm-Arlanda, Gothenburg and Helsinki bases

Who we are looking for

Required Criteria:

• Ability to speak at least one Nordic language
• Minimum 1500 hours total time, including recent jet experience. Preference will be given to candidates with 1000+ hours on jet aircraft.
• Valid EASA Class 1 Medical
• Valid EASA FCL
• Valid IR(A)ME
• MCC-course
• ATPL theory
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

Preferred Criteria:

• Airbus A320 family type rating

We are hiring based on knowledge, skills and attitude. As a pilot at Sunclass Airlines you need excellent communications skills, both for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers but also in interactions with air traffic control and your cabin crew. You need to be able to handle stress and be flexible in shifting conditions where you have to make quick and well-informed decisions. Additionally you have to be highly structured and organised, as well as have a strong service mindset.

Other information

Remuneration, employment terms, pension arrangements and other benefits are agreed under the collective labour agreement between Sunclass Airlines and Sunclass Pilot Unions.

You will be employed by a Danish airline which means you have to go through a security background check by the Danish police.
