Job summary

Braathens is seeking a committed Technical Safety Officer and FDM Analyst to maintain and enhance aviation safety across operations. You will advise CAMO and Part-145, investigate incidents, and collaborate with the Safety Department to assess risk and communicate findings.

The role involves coordinating with manufacturers and MROs, analyzing flight data for trends, and representing CAMO in the FDM programme. Based in Sweden with domestic travel and a 6-month probationary period.

Your Role

As a Technical Safety Officer and FDM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing aviation safety across our operations.

  • Acting as a safety advisor to the CAMO and Part-145 organizations.
  • Investigating technical incidents and operational events.
  • Collaborating with the Safety Department and departmental Safety Officers.
  • Coordinating and communicating risk assessments related to technical operations.
  • Serving as a key liaison between technical staff, aircraft manufacturers, external MROs, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Act as CAMO representative in the FDM Programme including analysis of Flight Data to identify trends in aircraft performance and system degradation.

Your Qualifications

Preferred Experience
  • Background as an aeronautical engineer or a Part-66 licensed aircraft engineer.
  • Familiarity with Airbus and ATR aircraft or similar types.
  • Experience in aviation safety or an academic degree in a relevant technical or safety field.
