Job summary

Ramboll in Stockholm is seeking an HR People Advisor to provide comprehensive HR operations support to managers and employees across the Swedish organization, with a focus on onboarding, compensation, benefits, and processes improvement.

You will play a key role in coordinating HR processes, maintaining HR data in Workday, and collaborating with global HR teams in a hybrid Stockholm office environment.

Qualifications

• Solid operational HR experience and Swedish labor law knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish compensation and pension schemes.
• Proficient with HR systems; comfortable in Word/Excel and related tools.
• Fluency in Swedish with good English communication.

We are seeking an HR People Advisor with experience in HR operations with employee life cycle support, compensation & benefits and process improvements. In this role, you will work closely with engaged colleagues to ensure consistent, high‑quality HR support across our Swedish organization.

Be Part of Our Nordic People Advisory Team

As our new People Advisor, you will join the Nordic People Advisory team covering Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Together with colleagues across our global HR organization, you will provide guidance to employees and leaders on a wide range of local HR matters.

Our team supports all managers and employees across Ramboll’s entities in Sweden, working closely with Swedish HR Business Partners and the Head of HR Sweden. We are committed to being perceived as One HR—a collaborative, service‑oriented‑function that supports the business with professionalism and care.

A Role with Impact and Opportunity

HR at Ramboll is evolving. We are simplifying processes and moving toward automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency and quality. In this role, you will:

• Advise and support managers and employees on a broad range of Swedish HR matters, including employment conditions, sickness absence, rehabilitation, working time, pensions and employee relations.
• Coordinate sickness‑absence and rehabilitation follow‑up, including short- and long-term cases and the associated documentation.
• Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employment documentation, background checks, contract changes and involuntary terminations.
• Coordinate HR processes and annual activities, such as the Annual Salary Review, OurVoice and local onboarding initiatives.
• Act as a key user and trusted advisor for Workday and ServiceNow, supporting effective case management, data quality and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Global HR Operations, recruiters, payroll and other HR colleagues to resolve queries and ensure smooth, compliant processes.
• Support Swedish benefits and pension administration, including Benifex, ITP arrangements and accurate information in Workday.
• Maintain HR information and communication channels, including our Intranet Rambla, organisational charts, manager information and HR newsletters.
• Support compliance and local governance, including GDPR, the Agency Work Act, work‑environment delegations, secondary occupations and updates to employment‑contract templates.
• Contribute to process improvements, identifying opportunities to simplify, clarify or automate HR services.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who thrives in a role with a varied task portfolio. To succeed, you should bring:

• Solid operational HR experience and knowledge of Swedish labor law
• Good knowledge ofSwedish compensation and benefits setup, including pension schemes
• Confidence using HR systems and the Microsoft environment (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Our daily tools include Workday and ServiceNow, so familiarity with these or other modern HR systems is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in Swedish and strong communication skills in English
• A structured, proactive, and solution oriented‑ approach
