About the Role

As an engineer at Qred, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of systems that directly impact small business growth. • Build and maintain robust software solutions that power our automated lending platforms.
• Ensure high code quality, system reliability, and optimal performance across our microservices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional product and data teams to deliver user‑centric financial products.
• Translate complex business requirements into clean, scalable technical architectures.
• Optimize our cloud infrastructure to support continuous deployment and scaling.

Qualifications

• A few to several years of professional experience within software engineering.
• Experience with our primary tech stack, either: Node.js, TypeScript, React, etc. or Java, SpringBoot, Quarkus, etc. We also want you to have some experience with AWS, Serverless, and Event‑driven architecture.
• Familiarity with building and maintaining relational databases and distributed systems.
• Good experience in agentic coding practices to augment their deliveries.
• Experience or strong interest in fintech, banking, or other regulated technical environments.
