Job summary

Qred AB in Stockholm is seeking a Customer Operations & Loan Specialist for the DACH region to evaluate loan applications and guide German-speaking entrepreneurs through tailored financing solutions, owning onboarding and credit execution.

You’ll interact with customers across phone, chat and email, structure proposals, and build long-term relationships as you progressively assume underwriting authority in a fast-growing fintech.

Qualifications

• German language fluency or native-level proficiency plus solid English.
• Background in customer operations, client management, or sales in financial services/fintech.
• Experience analyzing financial statements, credit data, or business metrics.
• Education in business/economics/finance or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications by analyzing business operations and credit risk with underwriting.
• Handle high-volume inquiries via phone, chat, and email to ensure fast loan processing.
• Structure customized financing proposals aligned with client cash flow.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and promote product portfolio adoption.
• Progressively transition to underwriting authority to manage loans.

About the Role

You will directly impact small business growth by evaluating credit applications and guiding German-speaking entrepreneurs through tailored financing solutions. This role bridges direct customer engagement with financial assessment, giving you end-to-end ownership of customer onboarding and credit execution in a rapidly scaling market.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate business loan applications by analyzing operational performance and credit risk in partnership with underwriting.
• Manage high-volume customer inquiries across phone, chat, and email to ensure fast and transparent loan processing.
• Structure customized financing proposals that align with applicant business models and cash flow requirements.
• Develop long-term customer relationships through proactive account management and product portfolio adoption.
• Transition into full credit underwriting authority to independently approve and manage small business loans over time.

You bring a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and excel at building trust with business owners. You are motivated by operational ownership, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and want to contribute to building robust customer operations frameworks.

Qualifications

• Native-level or fluent professional proficiency in German, alongside strong working proficiency in English.
• Practical background in customer operations, client management, or sales within financial services or fintech.
• Foundational experience analyzing financial statements, credit data, or business metrics.
• Educational background in business, economics, finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our headquarters in Stockholm. We believe our culture thrives when we work together, which is why we have an office-first approach. To balance this with some flexibility, we have the option of working remotely one day per week. We review applications on a rolling basis and while the start date is flexible, the right candidate can join us immediately.
