Job summary

Qred, a Nordic fintech, is hiring a Backend Developer to own critical systems powering our financial products. You will build scalable services, integrate third-party platforms, and push agentic AI features to enhance small-business customer experiences.

Stockholm-based with one remote day per week, you’ll join a fast-paced team shaping the future of fintech infrastructure. Required: strong TS/Node.js, cloud experience, and familiarity with AI models.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience in backend software engineering with Typescript.
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture, secure data transferring, and modern cloud environments.
• Practical exposure to using AI models, LLMs, or building automated agentic workflows.

About The Role

As a Backend Developer at Qred, you will take end-to-end ownership of some systems that power our financial products. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business impact by building scalable infrastructure while actively contributing to our transition into an agentic-first fintech. This mission-driven role offers the autonomy to implement solutions using agentic AI. This will directly improve the experience of thousands of small businesses.

Key responsibilities

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our headquarters in Stockholm. We believe our culture thrives when we work closely together, which is why we have an office-first approach. To balance this with some flexibility, we have the option of working remotely one day per week.
