Job summary

Aqilea seeks a Site Service Development Lead to manage infrastructure projects at the Mini Mill site in Luleå. You will drive scope, design, procurement, construction and handover, with regular site presence to track cost, quality, HSEQ and contractor performance.

The role requires strong leadership, Civil/Infrastructure engineering background and 5+ years of delivery experience in industrial projects, working within an Owner's team or client environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Experience delivering civil works and site infrastructure with contractors/consultants.
• Strong cost, schedule, risk and change-control skills.
• Experience with RFQ/tender processes and contractor follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through stage-gate process, establish scope and plans.
• Coordinate engineering input, define interfaces and review submissions.
• Support procurement with RFQs, clarifications and evaluations.
• Act as Owner's on-site project and construction manager, tracking progress and quality.
• Maintain cost estimates, schedules, risk logs and change records.
• Coordinate with Site Services, Logistics, HSEQ, and other functions.
• Oversee permits, risk assessments, inspections and quality records.
• Ensure as-built documentation and handover readiness.
