Job summary

SkillHuset Sweden AB seeks an experienced Engineering Manager – Building Services to lead engineering delivery for a major transformation project in Luleå. You will oversee HVAC, VVS, potable water, fire protection and BMS within a large-scale facility.

This role requires 10+ years in the industry, 5+ years in leadership, and Swedish fluency. You will coordinate interfaces, manage schedules and costs, and drive safe, cost-effective engineering solutions while promoting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industry, 5+ years in leadership.
• Minimum 5 years working in Sweden.
• Experience in steel, pulp & paper, refinery, or similar.
• Deep HVAC, VVS, potable water, fire protection and BMS knowledge.
• Interface management and constructability experience.
• Strong cost control, scheduling and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of Nordic standards.
• Fluent Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities across large-scale brownfield and greenfield CAPEX projects.
• Manage HVAC, heating, ventilation, VVS, water supply, fire protection and BMS integration.
• Coordinate technical interfaces and constructability reviews.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering consultants, suppliers, contractors and construction teams.
• Drive technical decisions and optimize plant layouts.
• Manage engineering schedules, cost forecasts and design-to-cost targets.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings, specifications and commissioning documentation.
• Lead engineering teams and promote continuous improvement.
