Job summary

Alfa Laval in Lund is seeking a Nuclear Bid Engineer to drive technical compliance during bids for nuclear power projects. You will translate customer specifications into actionable extras and features of heat exchangers, and you will coordinate with internal experts and global sales teams.

Based in Lund with some travel, you will analyze requirements, prepare clarification lists, and support cost and lead-time estimates for special components, while collaborating across functions to win bids

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, preferably in nuclear.
• Solid experience in manufacturing.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer technical specifications and prepare clarification/deviation lists.
• Provide and optimize cost and lead time of special components.
• Take active role in clarification meetings with customers.
• Cooperate with central functions, experts and sales teams.
• Quote spare parts for Gasketed Plate Exchangers in installed base.
• Actively participate in cross-functional projects for nuclear customers.
