Job summary

Caldic, a global specialty ingredients distributor, seeks a Product Manager for the Nordic region. The role is hybrid and based in Malmö, Sweden, or Hedensted, Denmark, and interfaces with suppliers, customers, and our Nordic sales team.

You will drive market development, manage supplier relationships, and support sales with ingredient guidance. Travel ~60 days per year; strong commercial and food-industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A highly commercial, customer-facing role in food ingredients industry.
• Experience within the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic food ingredient suppliers across the Nordic region.
• Work closely with the Nordic sales team during customer visits and commercial discussions.
• Support customers and the sales team with ingredient recommendations and application-oriented commercial guidance.
• Drive commercial growth initiatives and execute market development activities within the food ingredients segment.
• Lead supplier negotiations, pricing discussions, budgeting, and portfolio planning.
• Build strong relationships with food manufacturers, suppliers, and internal commercial stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and developments within the Nordic food industry.
• Act as the commercial link between suppliers, customers, and sales teams.
