Job summary

AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, seeks a Financial Reporting & Accounting Specialist to support quarterly/annual statements for Nordic branches, including Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

You will coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance while driving process improvements and efficient reporting across the region.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced experience in accounting and reporting in an international environment, preferably in insurance or tax consulting for insurance groups.
• Strong knowledge of yearly financial statements, financial planning and accounting per local GAAP, tax and IFRS.
• Excellent knowledge of tax law, planning, returns, audits and regulatory issues.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local Swedish GAAP; Norwegian and Danish knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for Nordic branches in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
• Manage tax reporting processes, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to facilitate audits.
• Support process improvements and automation in financial reporting and accounting.
• Assist with offshoring activities with shared service centers and external providers.
• Participate in governance and reporting committees with financial insights.
