Job summary

Redeploy is seeking a Data Engineer to own the data platforms across the Nordics, collaborating with platform, analytics and GenAI developers. You’ll work hands-on with Python, SQL and PySpark, shaping lakehouse architectures and Kimball modelling for production-ready data and AI workflows.

You’ll join cross-functional delivery teams, gain exposure to insurance, manufacturing, and logistics use cases, and have opportunities to grow into senior technical or architectural roles while delivering

Qualifications

Background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent university degree.
Strong programming skills in Python, solid experience in SQL and Spark, sound understanding of software engineering principles.
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (Azure preferred, AWS also relevant).
Solid understanding of data structures, modelling and processing.
Familiarity with data architectures like Lakehouse and Medallion.
AI-assisted development – you use tools like Claude, Code, Codex in daily work.

Responsibilities

Build data platforms from raw source systems to production-ready models.
Hands-on Python and SQL, with PySpark, in Kimball modelling and lakehouse architecture.
Shape what gets built and deliver it with clients.
