Job summary

Newsec in Northern Europe is building a modern Nordic data platform powered by Microsoft Fabric and the Azure ecosystem. This role suits a junior to mid-level data engineer eager to grow with an experienced team while working with Lakehouse technology.

You will collaborate with Data Architects, BI Developers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data pipelines that support analytics and self-service BI across the Nordics and Baltics. Fluency in English is required; Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Computer Science or data engineering.
• Solid foundation in data engineering concepts and SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL-based data pipelines and data modelling.
• Experience with Python or PySpark is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL/ELT data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with data architects, BI developers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and documentation.
