Job summary

Volvo Group in Göteborg invites MSc students to investigate eye tracking in XR training. You will develop a blueprint, select metrics, and propose data-analysis workflows to guide XR training development.

The project includes building a proof-of-concept and conducting a user study with Volvo Group stakeholders, under Volvo supervision and academic guidance. Contract: Paid by Volvo Group.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant MSc/MA program with XR or HCI focus.
• Strong interest in eye tracking and XR training applications.
• Ability to design and conduct user studies and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop a practical blueprint for eye tracking in Volvo XR training.
• Define metrics and methodological guidance for data analysis and visualization.
• Create a proof-of-concept demonstrator and conduct a user study with Volvo Group users.
• Collaborate with supervisors at Volvo Group and Chalmers.
