Job summary

RESCUE Intellitech in Malmö is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team. You will work across the development process, from concept and design through prototyping, testing and documentation, using CAD and SolidWorks to deliver robust mechanical solutions.

You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and about 1–3 years of product development experience, with a hands-on mindset and strong English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 1-3 years of experience in product development, mechanical design or a related field.
• Experience with CAD and 3D modelling; SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Good understanding of mechanical design and product development processes.
• Interest in both design work and hands-on development.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); Swedish is an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Developing mechanical concepts, designs and technical solutions.
• Using CAD and 3D modelling to produce drawings and design documentation.
• Developing new products while improving existing solutions.
• Building and modifying prototypes, followed by practical testing.
• Planning and conducting tests, documenting verification results.
• Evaluating components, materials and alternative technical solutions.
• Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Providing technical support across the organisation.
• Participating in projects or sub-projects with increasing responsibility.
