Job summary

Incluso seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support the development of equipment, processes, and products in Lund. This on-site role involves taking concepts through design, manufacturing, commissioning, and troubleshooting in a dynamic, hands-on team.

You’ll work on a new machine’s mechatronics, tooling, and technical documentation, contributing quickly in a small team. The candidate should be energetic, experienced, and capable of contributing from day one in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical design of equipment, mechanisms and motion systems.
• Ability to perform simple Creo simulations or calculations or willingness to learn on the job.
• Knowledge of injection moulding processes and tooling interactions with product and production equipment.
• Strong collaboration with simulation experts and test-rig purchasing, assembly and testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and dimensioning of equipment, mechanisms, and motion systems.
• Kinematic and dynamic simulations in Creo, including forces, torque, speed, acceleration, and dynamic loads.
• Design and dimensioning of mechatronic and servo-controlled systems, including servo motors, actuators, transmissions, and sensors.
• Knowledge of injection moulding processes, mould/tooling design, and interaction with product, tooling, process, and production equipment.
• Development of technical specifications, equipment layouts, and component selection.
• Support during testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• English is the main language and is sufficient.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for a global company in Lund. Start is ASAP, 5 months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. This role is 100% onsite in Lund.

Description

A Mechanical Engineer Consultant to support the development of equipment, processes, and products from concept and simulation through detailed design, manufacturing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

The team is in the early development phase of a new machine, using a try-fast, fail-fast approach. The role covers mechatronics, injection moulding parts, tooling design, and technical documentation. The person should be able to handle mechanical design, perform simple CREO simulations or calculations (or learn on the job), collaborate with simulation experts, and support test-rig purchasing, assembly, and testing. It’s a dynamic, hands-on environment, so I need someone experienced, energetic, and able to contribute quickly in a small team.

The role includes:
