Job summary

Voi Technology in Stockholm is seeking a Mechanic (Fleet Specialist Hybrid) for an open application. You will maintain and repair our electric scooters and e-bikes, support in-field tasks with vans, and help keep the fleet ride-ready for city operations.

The role emphasizes learning the technical side of micromobility, adapting to shifting schedules, and working with a collaborative team. A valid driving licence and tools experience are valued as we build a resilient mobility network in

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Experience with tools, repairs or vehicle maintenance.
• Valid Swedish or EU driving licence (category B).
• Solid knowledge of Stockholm and confident driving in the city.
• Familiar with digital tools and applications.
• Ability to handle a physically demanding job.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and recycle vehicles beyond repair.
• Receive, inspect and prepare new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse.
• Support teammates in-field with reparking vehicles and flagging issues.
• Collect and deploy Voi vehicles across the city.
• Locate and retrieve damaged vehicles.
• Swap batteries to keep vehicles ready to ride.
• Carry out on-site repairs and diagnose mechanical issues.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

Open Application; We are currently building a talent pool for future Mechanic positions in Stockholm. Please note that this posting is for upcoming needs and not an immediate hire. As a Mechanic (Fleet Specialist Hybrid) in Stockholm, you'll keep our electric scooters and e-bikes in great shape and help our city operations run smoothly. As part of our mechanical team, you'll maintain and repair our vehicles - learning the technical side of micromobility and keeping our fleet ride-ready. We also have our in-field tasks, where you'll be utilising our vans to perform different tasks in the Stockholm area, making sure our operations runs as efficiently as possible.

Your Day-to-day Will Include Tasks Like

• Dismantle and recycle vehicles beyond repair
• Receive, inspect and prepare new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse
• Support your teammates in-field with reparking vehicles, clearing parking spots, flagging issues
• Collect and deploy Voi vehicles across the city
• Locate and retrieve damaged vehicles
• Swap batteries to keep vehicles ready to ride
• Carry out on-site repairs and diagnose mechanical issues

THE PRACTICALITIES

• Application status: Open / Future talent pool
• Location: Stockholm
• Working hours: Typically part time (60% - 3 weekdays), with opportunity to pick up additional shifts on weekdays and occasionally weekends as well
• Contract type: Seasonal / Fixed Term (2 months, with potential extension based on performance and operational needs)

What We're Looking For Is Someone Who Has

• Good English, spoken and written
• Experience with tools, repairs or vehicle maintenance
• A valid Swedish or EU driving licence (category B)
• Solid knowledge of Stockholm and confidence driving in the city, preferably from professional driving in logistics or a similar role
• General familiarity with digital tools and applications
• Ability to handle a physically demanding job
