Job summary

Voi Technology AB in Stockholm is seeking a Mechanic (Fleet Specialist Hybrid) to keep electric scooters and e-bikes ride-ready across the city. You’ll dismantle, repair, swap batteries, and support in-field tasks while learning the micromobility operations.

This seasonal, part-time role (60%) offers hands-on maintenance, collaboration with a dynamic team, and flexible shifts including occasional weekends. English proficiency required; Swedish driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and recycle vehicles beyond repair.

• Collect and deploy Voi vehicles across the city.
• Locate and retrieve damaged vehicles.
• Swap batteries to keep vehicles ready to ride.
• Carry out on-site repairs and diagnose mechanical issues.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

Open Application; We are currently building a talent pool for future Mechanic positions in Stockholm. Please note that this posting is for upcoming needs and not an immediate hire. As a Mechanic (Fleet Specialist Hybrid) in Stockholm, you'll keep our electric scooters and e-bikes in great shape and help our city operations run smoothly. As part of our mechanical team, you'll maintain and repair our vehicles - learning the technical side of micromobility and keeping our fleet ride-ready. We also have our in-field tasks, where you'll be utilising our vans to perform different tasks in the Stockholm area, making sure our operations runs as efficiently as possible.

Your day‑to‑day will include tasks like:

• Dismantle and recycle vehicles beyond repair
• Receive, inspect and prepare new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse
• Support your teammates in-field with reparking vehicles, clearing parking spots, flagging issues
• Collect and deploy Voi vehicles across the city

THE PRACTICALITIES

• Working hours: Typically part time (60% - 3 weekdays), with opportunity to pick up additional shifts on weekdays and occasionally weekends as well
• Contract type: Seasonal / Fixed Term (2 months, with potential extension based on performance and operational needs)

What we're looking for is someone who has:

• Good English, spoken and written
• Experience with tools, repairs or vehicle maintenance
• A valid Swedish or EU driving licence (category B)
• Solid knowledge of Stockholm and confidence driving in the city, preferably from professional driving in logistics or a similar role
• General familiarity with digital tools and applications
• Ability to handle a physically demanding job
