As a Measurement Specialist, you will play an important role in verifying and analyzing components, supporting supplier quality activities, and contributing your measurement expertise to projects and continuous improvements. You will work with advanced measurement equipment in a collaborative environment where quality and precision are at the heart of everything we do.

Main Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Measurement Specialist to join our Business Unit RDS. In this role, you will be part of the Supplier Quality (Supply Chain) department, where quality issues related to incoming inspection, components, and suppliers are in focus.

You will join a team of eight colleagues consisting of specialists and engineers. This is an exciting and challenging role where you will play an important part in ensuring the quality of our products.

As a Measurement Specialist, you will work closely with our Senior Measurement Specialist to ensure and maintain the quality of purchased components and provide measurement expertise in projects and supplier-related activities.

The primary focus of this role will be inspections and measurements performed using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).

Examples of responsibilities:
  • Participate in projects as a technical resource
  • Perform measurements and analyses of components used in Aimpoint products
  • Conduct verification testing and result analysis
  • Develop measurement programs, work instructions, and inspection instructions for CMM equipment
  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs) with measurement-related issues at supplier sites
Education and Skills Requirements
  • Education in metrology, measurement technology, or equivalent practical experience in measurement-related work
  • Good knowledge of technical drawing interpretation, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Swedish and English
Experience Requirements
  • Has several years of experience in advanced measurement and metrology work within the manufacturing industry.

Meritorious Qualifications
  • Experience working with CMM systems such as Hexagon, Zeiss, CE Johansson, Mitutoyo, or DEA
  • Experience using measurement equipment such as Leica systems and measuring arms
  • Experience with PC-DMIS measurement software
  • Knowledge of manual measurement equipment and gauges
  • Experience working in ERP systems such as Jeeves or Microsoft Dynamics

The salary range for an Measurement Specialist is SEK 40,000–50,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
