Job summary

X Shore in Sweden is seeking an Electrical Assembly Operator to build and install electrical systems for its boats. You will follow drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to assemble components and ensure safety and quality in a hands-on, on-site role.

You will work closely with production and engineering, resolve assembly issues, and contribute to a reliable, repeatable manufacturing process. The position requires practical electrical experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in electrical assembly or related manufacturing role.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with electrical components, wiring, connectors, and cable preparation.
• Confident and safe use of hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team and communicate issues clearly.
• Commitment to following workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Nyköping, Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, and systems in boats in accordance with drawings and work instructions
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Prepare cables and harnesses, including cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, and securing wires
• Use hand tools and electrical assembly equipment safely and correctly
• Inspect completed work and carry out basic electrical checks to identify assembly issues
• Report defects, discrepancies, and missing or incorrect information to the appropriate team
• Work with production, quality, and engineering colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes
• Maintain an organised work area and follow safety, quality, and production procedures
• Record completed work and communicate progress in line with production requirements
