Job summary

X Shore is seeking a Boat Assembly Operator to join its on-site production team in Nyköping, Sweden. You will follow drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to fit components and complete assemblies safely and accurately.

You will work closely with production, quality and engineering colleagues to resolve issues, record progress, and maintain an organized workspace while ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

About the Role

X Shore is looking for a Boat Assembly Operator to build and assemble boats as part of its production team. You’ll follow technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to fit components and complete assembly tasks safely and accurately. Working closely with production, quality, and engineering colleagues, you’ll help resolve issues and support a consistent manufacturing process.

This is a hands‑on, on‑site role in a boat manufacturing environment. It suits someone who is practical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable using tools to carry out assembly work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble boat structures, components, and fittings in accordance with drawings and work instructions
• Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and correctly
• Prepare, fit, and secure parts and materials to meet production requirements
• Read and follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production documentation
• Inspect completed work and identify defects or assembly issues
• Report discrepancies, damaged parts, or missing information to the appropriate team
• Work with production, quality, and engineering colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with a range of materials, components, and fastening methods
