Job summary

Incluso is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Junior Project Management Specialist in Gothenburg for a 5-month contract. The role is 100% onsite, starting ASAP, with duties spanning meeting coordination, cross-cultural communication with Chinese colleagues, and leadership of mechanical architecture development. The candidate should hold a B.Sc.

or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, have strong automotive knowledge, and be fluent in Mandarin and English; Swedish is a plus.

• Benchmarking and weight management tasks including follow-ups and weight assessments.

Job description

We’re looking for a Mandarin speaking Junior Project Management Specialist for a global company in Gothenburg. Start is ASAP, 5 months limited contract to begin with. This role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg.

Description of the assignment

This assignment is to act as a substitute for our regular Project management specialist (5-8 months). In the role as Project management specialist, you will:

• Support the Global Chief Engineer Mechanical Architecture with meeting arrangements and meeting minutes
• Communicate extensively with Chinese colleagues in GRI in all matters related to Mechanical Architecture
• On occasion travel to China to participate in workshops and meetings
• Lead and coordinate mechanical architecture Red Book development

Besides above tasks, you will also have a special focus on benchmarking and weight management:

• Communicate with Chinese colleagues regarding details for weight follow-up and
• Independently perform benchmarking activities including but not limited to finding and
• Independently perform weight assessments, keeping track of max axle weights, GVM and
• curb weights for different architectures, vehicles and options
• Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. Engineering degree within Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Very good general automotive knowledge – both product knowledge with respect to competitors but also product development knowledge with respect to how a mechanical architecture is developed, what aspects are important and how different systems interact
• No specific years of experience are required but some are expected within automotive industry to fulfill above point.
• Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin and English. Fluency in Swedish is an advantage.
