In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing aftermarket strategic areas, focusing on electromobility projects, including hybrid and fully electric powertrains. You will work within a dynamic and highly international team to maximize vehicle and powertrain efficiency, ensuring customer uptime and product development. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about cutting‑edge automotive technology and looking to drive change in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including Vehicle and Powertrain Engineering, Business Areas (e.g., Trucks, Bus, etc.), Operations, and Aftermarket Teams (AMT) to ensure a comprehensive delivery that supports maintainability and aftermarket business opportunities.
  • Strategic Focus: Oversee projects related to hybrid and fully electric powertrains, ensuring that these projects meet strategic targets while balancing high complexity and change within the Powertrain and Vehicle installation/application portfolio.
  • Project Management Excellence: Manage the Aftermarket project QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Features) according to set targets. Ensure structured and long‑term, fact‑based working methods to meet delivery goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the development of future working methods in aftermarket projects with an end‑user and customer‑focused mindset. Help establish ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in the Aftermarket domain.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including suppliers, engineering teams, buyers, warranty departments, and project stakeholders. Collaborate to ensure timely and successful delivery of aftermarket solutions.
  • Global Environment: Work in a global, technically advanced team with a wide scope of contacts across regions and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Key Requirements
  • Educational Background:
    • M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent qualification. PMP certification is a merit.
  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in project management, ideally within the automotive industry or similar technical fields.
    • Proven experience in managing complex cross‑functional teams, particularly in global product development projects.
    • Solid understanding of the Aftermarket business, including workshop environments, service offerings, and spare parts logistics.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong technical experience in automotive powertrain systems, including hybrid and electric powertrains.
    • Familiarity with Product Development Processes and aftermarket services such as diagnostics and repair strategies.
  • Skills:

    • Clear, effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats, with fluency in English.
    • Strong risk management and decision‑making abilities with an ability to balance strategic objectives with day‑to‑day project management.
Behavioral Competencies
  • Team Collaboration: A team player with strong networking skills, capable of managing relationships across organizational levels and functions.
  • Customer‑Focused: Able to prioritize and focus on key deliverables with an end‑user and customer‑centric approach.
  • Problem‑Solving: Holistic perspective with the ability to handle ambiguity and drive results in complex and changing environments.
What We Offer
  • An exciting role within a global and innovative team at the forefront of electromobility and automotive technology.
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic work environment.
