Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Manager Safeguard and Nuclear Safety to lead the QEHS Sweden team, overseeing nuclear material accounting, inventory planning, investigations and audits, and serving as expert support to internal customers and authorities.

You will report to the Director QEHS Sweden and work onsite at Bränslegatan, Västerås, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team development while coordinating with SSM, IAEA, and Euratom.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a leadership role with the ability to develop teams and foster a safety culture.
• 1+ years of experience working in the nuclear industry.
• Knowledge of regulations and authority requirements (e.g., SSM).
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent in Swedish.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Welcome to Nuclear Safety (EPN). We are a team of 11 employees who together support the Swedish organization in nuclear material control and nuclear safety.

About The Role

As a Manager Safeguard and Nuclear Safety you will be part of our QEHS Management team. You will lead a team that performs nuclear material accounting, inventory planning, investigations and audits within your teams area of expertise. You will act as expert support for our business in matters relating to your responsibilities.

You and your team will work with our internal customers and authorities, especially the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM), IAEA and Euratom.

You will report to the Director QEHS Sweden and you will work onsite at Bränslegatan, Västerås.
