Job summary

Wellspect Healthcare in Sweden seeks an experienced Facility Manager to take overall responsibility for the facilities, systems and investments supporting production, R&D and operations. You will lead the facility organization and drive day-to-day management and long-term development of the portfolio.

The role requires a technical engineering background, strong leadership, and extensive experience in facility management within regulated environments, ideally in medical technology or cleanrooms.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of specialists in facility management or engineering.
• Experience with budgeting and investment planning for facilities and assets.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and technical installations.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and GMP in medical environments.
• Proven project management capabilities across construction and installation.
• Experience in energy optimization and sustainability projects.
• Knowledge of building automation and digital facility management.
• Understanding GMP and building automation in regulated settings.
• Experience from the medical technology industry or cleanrooms is advantageous.
• Fluent in Swedish and English; strong communication skills.
• Experience procuring and managing consultants and contractors.

As Facility Manager, you will play a key role in the organization and be responsible for ensuring a safe, reliable and future-proof property portfolio that supports production, research and development. You will lead the facility organization and be responsible for both the day-to-day management and the long-term development of the facilities.

Your Role

• Overall responsibility for the operation, maintenance and development of the company’s facilities

• Managing, coaching and developing the facility organization

Your Profile

• Experience as a disciplinary and technical leader of a team
• University degree or master’s degree in engineering within a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in facility management, engineering or project operations
• Experience with budget and investment responsibility
• Experience in procuring and managing consultants and contractors
• Good understanding of technical installations, particularly HVAC systems
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Experience from cleanrooms or the medical technology industry
• Knowledge of GMP and building automation and digital facility management
• Experience in energy optimization and sustainability projects
• Experience managing projects in business-critical environments with ongoing operations
