Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical tools and equipment in production.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tools and equipment and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring to ensure systems operate within safe and optimal parameters.
  • Support incident handling, fault‑finding, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Execute maintenance tasks according to work orders, SOPs, and safety standards (LoTo, risk assessments, permits‑to‑work).
  • Assist in upgrades, modifications, and commissioning of new tools and equipment from the technician perspective.
  • Collaborate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance in outsourced maintenance work.
  • Keep accurate records of performed maintenance, spare parts used, and system performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.
Qualifications
  • Technical education in maintenance (or equivalent work experience).
  • Knowledge and hands‑on experience with mechanical, electrical, or automation systems related to tools and equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems).
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment documents (electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, P&IDs).
  • Experience with maintenance of production equipment or similar experience from other relevant industries (e.g., aviation, rail, semiconductors, automotive) is also beneficial.
  • Communicate verbal and written in English.
Specific Skills
  • Safety‑oriented mindset, familiar with LoTo, permits‑to‑work, and industrial safety standards.
  • Familiarity with clean/dry‑room environments (preferred).
  • Problem‑solving skills with ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Basic computer skills (CMMS, MS Office).
