Job summary

Bosch Thermoteknik AB in Tranås, Sweden is seeking a structured LVD Certification Specialist to join our product development team. You will be the internal expert for electrical safety and CE marking, guiding certification efforts and supporting a smooth market launch of heat pump products.

You will define testing requirements, review documentation from suppliers, and lead discussions with laboratories and certification bodies to ensure all standards are met.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree (Electrical/Mechatronics).
• Practical experience with the Low Voltage Directive and CE marking.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (EN 60335).
• Experience interpreting and applying technical standards and documenting tests.
• Good English skills for international documentation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define certification and testing requirements for products and components.
• Review certificates, documentation, and test reports for compliance.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, labs, and test institutes.
• Plan, perform, and document LVD and electrical safety tests in internal lab.
• Coordinate testing with external certification bodies and test institutes.
• Perform testing per EN 60335-2-40 where applicable.
• Manage Customer's Test Facility agreement, audits, and equipment calibration.
• Support development teams and identify certification risks early.
• Act as company expert for LVD certification and final product approval.
