Job summary
Jobtailor is seeking a Product Compliance Engineer in Sweden to maintain certifications, draft specifications, and interpret lab data. You will support R&D and coordinate testing with labs and third‑party bodies to ensure ongoing compliance.
The role requires an engineering degree, strong IEC 60335 knowledge, and experience with appliance products. Fluency in English is essential; Swedish is a strong plus. You will update technical files and contribute to risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Experience with product compliance, standards and certifications.
- Knowledge of IEC 60335 standards and related compliance.
- Understanding of product development and lifecycle stages.
- Experience with lab testing coordination and documentation.
- Fluent in English; Swedish language is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, update and manage product certifications for existing products.
- Create specifications and test plans in line with applicable standards.
- Interpret lab test data and support R&D in ensuring compliance.
- Coordinate testing with internal labs and external bodies.
- Oversee and update technical files and certification documentation.
- Evaluate engineering changes from a product compliance perspective.
- Support risk assessments and provide compliance expertise.
