Job summary

Bosch Thermoteknik AB in Tranås seeks an experienced LVD Certification Specialist to strengthen our product development team. You will become the internal expert for electrical safety and CE marking, coordinating with suppliers and external test institutes to ensure conformity and timely market readiness.

The role requires interpreting and applying complex standards, planning and conducting LVD tests, and ensuring compliance with EN 60335-2-40 and related requirements across residential heat

Qualifications

• Structured and analytical approach to complex technical standards.
• Experience with Low Voltage Directive and CE marking.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (EN 60335).
• Ability to interpret standards and communicate requirements clearly.
• Experience performing and documenting electrical safety tests.
• Good English skills for international documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define certification and testing requirements for products and components.
• Review supplier certificates, technical documentation, and test reports for compliance.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, laboratories, and external institutes.
• Plan, perform, and document LVD and electrical safety tests in internal lab.
• Coordinate testing activities with external certification bodies and test institutes.
• Perform testing according to EN 60335-2-40 clauses 10, 11, 13 and 19.
• Manage Customer's Test Facility agreement, audits, and calibration of test equipment.
• Support development teams throughout product development and identify certification risks.
• Act as the company expert for LVD certification and ensure final approval.
