Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to run on-site logistics for a major data centre project in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The role focuses on coordinating deliveries, material handling, site access, and storage in line with project programmes and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in logistics on construction/engineering sites, strong planning and communication skills, and a track record of safety compliance on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or similar discipline.
• 5–7 years’ experience in a logistics role within construction or engineering.
• Strong experience managing site logistics on large-scale construction projects.
• Knowledge of traffic management, material handling, and site coordination practices.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment.
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements related to site logistics.
• Data centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site logistics activities across the project lifecycle.
• Develop and implement site logistics plans in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries, material handling, and site movements for efficiency.
• Manage site access, traffic, and security per health & safety standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Package Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and control storage areas to ensure safe, efficient storage.
• Manage logistics subcontractors, including performance tracking.
• Ensure all logistics documentation, permits, and safety records are up to date.
• Attend Site, Planning, and Logistics Coordination Meetings.
• Identify and mitigate logistical risks and site constraints.
• Support team in maintaining a safe, organized working environment.
• Prepare and issue logistics reports to project team and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
• Proactively resolve logistics and coordination issues on site.

We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our project team in Eskiltuna, Sweden. This role will be responsible for managing all logistics operations on site, ensuring the efficient coordination of deliveries, materials handling, site access, and storage in line with project programme and safety requirements.
