Job summary

OHLA Sverige is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the Gerstaberg Project in Sweden. You will plan, manage and optimize logistics operations to ensure efficient production flow, timely material availability, and cost-conscious execution of construction activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, transportation, equipment, plant, tools, and storage areas, while continuously improving efficiency and controlling project logistics costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage all rented machinery, vehicles and construction equipment within the project.
• Control rental agreements, rental periods and off-hire processes to avoid unnecessary costs.
• Monitor equipment utilization and implement actions to maximize productivity and reduce idle time.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs of machinery and tools.
• Maintain updated records of equipment status, certifications and maintenance schedules.
• Analyze machinery and equipment costs and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure the right equipment is available at the right location and time to support production activities.
• Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Fleet management of rented and owned machinery.
• Equipment rental cost control and optimization.
• Tool and equipment inventory management.
• Maintenance planning and coordination.
• Utilization monitoring of machinery, vehicles and equipment.
• Logistics budget management with special focus on equipment and transportation costs.
• Identification and implementation of efficiency improvements across production and logistics operations.

On this position you will:
