Job summary

Telia Cygate is seeking a Linux Engineer to join our container‑driven Managed Services delivery. You’ll design and operate our Kubernetes‑as‑a‑Service platform, build CI/CD pipelines, and optimize cloud workloads across Telia Cygate’s hybrid environment.

With 5+ years in container tech, you’ll mentor peers, contribute to automation, and stay ahead of cloud‑native trends. Location flexibility across Sweden is supported, with a collaborative culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of container technologies experience (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong CI/CD background with Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficient scripting in Bash, Python or Go; automation focus.
• Agile mindset and collaborative in cross‑functional teams.
• Fluency in Swedish and good English; capable of mentoring others.

We are looking for a Linux Engineer to join us at Telia Cygate. My name is Petra Peric, Head of Cloud Operation, and I’m looking for someone who wants to grow together with us. We are a supportive and forward-looking delivery team within Managed Services, responsible for delivering Hybrid & Cloud services across Telia Cygate. We are growing rapidly within this area and see significant opportunities ahead, especially within AI-driven platforms and services.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement Telia Cygate’s Kubernetes-as-a-Service platform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and efficient application delivery
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized applications and infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate container solutions into existing systems and workflows
• Resolve technical challenges related to container technologies and cloud platforms
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices within cloud-native technologies
• Mentor and support junior engineers and developers within the container ecosystem
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform services and automation capabilities

• At least 5 years of experience working with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Solid scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, Go, or similar programming languages
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in Swedish (native or near-native) and good English, as well as experience leading, mentoring, and educating teams

It is also a plus if you have:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Docker Certified Associate (DCA), or similar certifications
• Experience working with security and compliance in containerized environments
• Knowledge of networking architecture and security within Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
